The interior of this restaurant definitely feels like an upscale restaurant in Asia. In the day, it feels bright and light, and in the evening it has the energy of a busy night market.
The Tyger’s dishes and flavors hailing from Vietnam, Cambodia, Loas and many other Southeast Asian countries. Whether you crave seafood, or are carnivore, or are looking for vegan option, they have really have a vast menu to fit your needs. All their dishes hit multiple flavors and textures. Do not forget about their cocktails, which are as tasty as they are beautiful. For people more prone to the Asian glow, grab a mocktail instead.
Their menu is quite extensive, so we are going to pick a single dish from each section of their dinner menu. From the Raw section, get the Sashimi of Scallops. It’s light and a perfect way to start a meal. From Small Plates, get the Moo Ping Pork Skewers. It’s well spiced and served with a delicious Thai dipping sauce. Keep it light with the Baby Gem Salad from the Vegetable section, because from the Rice and Noodle section, you have to try the Singaporean Chili Crab Fried Rice and the Salt and Pepper Crispy Snapper Tempura from the Seafood and Meats section.
You can’t go wrong with any of their cocktails, but if it’s your first time, it only makes sense to get the The Tyger Strype. They also have a prix menu option that allows you to try a variety of their dishes. Honestly, our biggest recommendation is nothing to do with the food. It’s to go with many people and share all the dishes you order. Family style is the best way to experience all of it.
